We're delighted to announce exciting enhancements to Rightworks Transaction Pro for QuickBooks Online, all designed to supercharge your productivity and make your workflow as smooth as possible. Here's everything you need to know about what’s new, what's changed, and answers to common questions.

What’s New?

  • Multi-process flow: Previously, Transaction Pro could only execute a single import, export, or delete task at one time. With our latest update, the system now supports a multi-process flow, allowing you to queue and run multiple tasks simultaneously. This upgrade enhances productivity by enabling continuous work without interruptions.

  • History table: We have introduced an improved History table, serving as a centralized dashboard for monitoring all tasks. This feature displays critical details such as the task initiator, task type (import, export, deletion), creation date and time, and current status.

For completed exports, you can now download files directly from the “History” table.

  • Close or Continue options: Enjoy streamlined task transitions with the new "Close or Continue" options. After completing an import, export, or delete task, you can immediately start your next task without leaving the page.
    • Continue Option: Click the “Import/Export/Delete and Continue” button to remain on the page and start your next task instantly.

    • Close Option: Click the “Import/Export/Delete and Close” button to complete your current task and return to the History table.

  • Billing History table: In the Admin Portal, account admins can easily access and view their historical invoices with the newly added Billing History table. This feature allows users to view past invoices directly within the Admin Portal, eliminating the need to contact support for billing inquiries.

FAQs

  • How can I start using the multi-process flow?

Begin any import, export, or deletion task as you normally would. The system now automatically queues and processes subsequent tasks simultaneously.

  • Does the multi-process flow apply to all tools?

Yes, the multi-process flow feature is available for all tools in Transaction Pro - Importer, Exporter, and Deleter - allowing you to run multiple tasks concurrently.

  • What should I do if there's an issue with a queued task?

If any issues arise with a task in the queue, try to complete the task again. If the problem persists, please contact our support team for troubleshooting assistance.

  • Is there a limit to the number of tasks I can queue?

Currently, there is a generous limit set to ensure optimal performance and usability, which should suffice for typical usage scenarios.

  • What protocols are in place for storing data?

For stored data requests, such as with the Exporter and Importer, data tables are retained for 24 hours, whereas completed requests are logged in the History table for up to 30 days.

  • Where can I find the files from my completed exports?

Directly download completed export files from the History table, offering convenient access anytime.

  • Can I export historical invoices from the Billing History table?

No, the Billing History feature is currently read-only. While you can view past invoices, there is no option to export or download them at this time.

  • What if I have questions about a specific invoice?

Please contact our support team for assistance. They can offer additional context and address any concerns you may have regarding the invoice.
