Saved Map Does Not Match One or More Fields

MESSAGE

 

"Saved map does not match one or more fields from the current import file. Cannot load saved map. Please try loading the same file format used when creating the mapping or click the Load Map button to load a map for this file."

 

RESOLUTION

 

If this message is received when using Rightworks Transaction Pro Importer and this is the first time this import type has been selected, this message is being received because a map for the import has not yet been created. Select OK and then create the map to use with the import file. 

 

If this message is received when using Importer and this is a recurring import, this error message is being received because the file headers in the import file are different than the last import file that was used. Please check the following:

 

  1. Make sure the correct import type is selected on the first screen of Importer.

  2. If importing a .csv or .txt file, make sure that on the first screen of Importer in the middle that the correct delimiter has been selected (comma, pipe, or tab).

  3. On the second screen in Importer, check to make sure that the box next to FILE CONTAINS FIELD NAMES IN THE FIRST ROW is checked or unchecked, depending on the import file.

  4. Make sure none of the column headers have changed names or been deleted from the import file since the last import.

  5. Select the LOAD MAP button at the bottom of the Importer mapping screen and load the saved map file for the import.

  6. Select the LOAD MAP button at the bottom of the Importer mapping screen and load the back-up copy of the saved map file for the import.
