ISSUE

When an Inventory Adjustment is imported into QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) using Rightworks Transaction Pro Importer, only the Item quantity updates, not the quantity

and value.

RESOLUTION

When importing an Inventory Adjustment, the Item quantity adjustment and the Item value adjustment have to be imported as two separate imports into QBDT.

The same import file can be used. Simply map the quantity adjustment and import, and then map the value adjustment and import.

Other things to note when performing an Inventory Adjustment import:

1. The Items need to exist in QBDT prior to importing.
2. If using Sites (available in Advanced Inventory in QB Enterprise), QBDT allows only one Site per Inventory Adjustment; therefore, a separate Inventory Adjustment must be imported for each Site.
