There were problems communicating with the Intuit API. Please try importing your transactions later.
RESOLUTION
If the above message is received when using Rightworks Transaction Pro Importer, Transaction Pro Exporter, or Transaction Pro Deleter for QuickBooks Online, please follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Check to see if QuickBooks Online's Application Programming Interface (API) is down. The API is what TPro products use to communicate with QuickBooks Online. Intuit's API status can be checked HERE. Find QuickBooks Online API on the page and look to the right. If on the right side of the page for QuickBooks Online API says OPERATIONAL, then follow the remaining steps below. If there are issues noted with the QuickBooks Online API, then return to the Intuit website for updates or try to access TPro at a later time.
Step 2:
If the Intuit website says that the QuickBooks Online API is operational, have the Admin user of the TPro application follow the instructions below.
-
Admin user should log into the TPro application HERE.
-
Select the subscription that is having the issue.
-
Click on the drop-down arrow next to the Company Name near the top-right and select DISCONNECT FROM QUICKBOOKS.
-
Confirm by clicking DISCONNECT.
-
Click on MY ACCOUNT in the upper right hand corner, then select SIGN OUT from the drop-down menu.
-
Admin user should re-login to the TPro application HERE.
-
Select the CONNECT TO QUICKBOOKS button and go through the authorization process. If you have more than one subscription active, click on the drop-down arrow next to the Company Name near the top right and select ADD ANOTHER SUBSCRIPTION.
-
Retry the import.
